If something is not right
Returns & refunds
Food that has crossed an ocean cannot be put back on the shelf, so our policy is built around replacing or refunding rather than sending things back.

If your parcel is damaged or wrong
Photograph the outer parcel and the contents, then email info@leafworldtea.com within seven days of delivery, quoting your order reference.
We will replace the affected items on our next dispatch, or refund them in full — your choice. You will not need to post anything back to Sri Lanka.
If your parcel does not arrive
Parcels are tracked end to end. If tracking has not moved for ten working days past the expected window, tell us and we will open an enquiry with the carrier.
Where a parcel is confirmed lost in the postal system, we replace or refund it in full, including postage.
We cannot refund parcels that tracking shows as delivered to the address you gave us, or parcels returned to us because nobody collected them from a depot. In that second case we will re-send once you cover the new postage.
If you change your mind
Tell us before we dispatch and we will cancel and refund in full.
Once a parcel has been posted we cannot recall it. Unopened, undamaged items can be refunded less postage if you arrange and pay for their return — though for most orders the return postage costs more than the tea.
What we cannot refund
- Items opened or part-used, unless they were faulty
- Custom blends and private-label runs made to your specification
- Import duty, VAT or handling fees charged by your own customs authority
- Parcels refused at delivery or abandoned at a collection point
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or account that paid, through Sampath Bank, usually within five to ten working days depending on your bank. We email you when we start one.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your own country. Where those rights give you more than this policy does, they apply.
